This app can be used anywhere and is especially useful for businesses with multiple work sites or delivery locations. Users can save, share, and export their list of locations, including calculated sales tax charges, to streamline their bookkeeping.
The app has several new features, including easily refreshing rates that have expired and improved identification of expired items. Saved locations are now grouped by month for easy exporting, and the results page now includes city, county, and tribal indicators. Additionally, users can turn on in-app service alerts to know when the GIS system is offline for maintenance.
Other useful features include finding local sales tax rates by GPS or searching an address, entering the taxable amount to calculate the total charge with sales tax, and naming, saving, and sharing locations via email or text message. Users can also download their saved locations as text or CSV files for use in filing their tax returns.
It is important to note that the app does not currently provide lodging or motor vehicle sales and rentals rates, and should not be used as an accounting system. Updates to the app may delete saved locations.
